The parish of Dongara with Mingenew serves the southern end of the diocese. Dongara is a beautiful coastal area, while the Anglican Church building is a landmark feature of the town. The church building was designed by colonial architect Francis Bird and constructed in 1885. The first minister in Dongara arrived in 1878.
Mingenew is a small agricultural centre about 100kms inland from Dongara. Its church building was opened in 1908.
WHEN DO OUR CONGREGATIONS MEET?
Dongara at 9am: We meet each week and our services alternate between the Lord’s Supper and Morning service. We are committed to the Bible and so our times of meeting together have teaching the Bible at their centre. After the service we meet in the Church Hall for fellowship and morning tea.

WHO is our MINISTER?
Rev David Mitchell
David is married to Traci and they have two children, Daphne and Edward. David has served as an assistant minister in both Karratha and Geraldton.
The Mitchells have been in Dongara since October 2015 and enjoy living in the area.
