The Anglican Diocese of North West Australia covers an area of 2 million sq kms. The diocese stretches from Dongara in the south, to the top of Western Australia, and east to the South Australia/Northern Territory border. The diocese has 16 parishes, consisting of farming, fishing and mining communities with populations from 700 hundred to over 37,000. As well, we have three Mission to Seafarers’ ministries, along with rural and prison chaplaincies.
At our heart is a gospel-centred mission seeking to know Christ and make him known. We are committed to the Bible as God’s authoritative Word and our churches provide opportunities to hear and live out what God is saying to us.
Whether you are a visitor to the North West, or a local, you’re most welcome to join us at church each Sunday – we would love to see you there!
The Diocesan mission is to facilitate by prayer, encouragement and resourcing the work of parishes and diocesan organisations as they:
- engage their communities;
- evangelise their contacts;
- establish people as Christians;
- equip Christians for service;
- export for the kingdom of God.
We invite you to share in our gospel mission by joining us, by praying for us and by giving towards our mission.
