Aboriginal ministry

We’re seeking to raise funds to provide more Indigenous ministry in the diocese. The first location we’re aiming to support is in the small town of Wyndham. Indigenous folk from the Oombulgurri (a past Anglican mission centre) have previously been relocated to Wyndham, but we lack resources to adequately serve them. Please pray for a suitable couple to minister in this town.

Church planting

We are asking God to raise up an evangelist/church-planter to reach people in South Hedland with a renewed ministry.

Our South Hedland church is ideally situated right in the middle of town near the shopping centre where people are always gathering. This gives us many opportunities to engage with local residents, especially with Aboriginal families, by building on our existing links with the community.

Training for North West ministry

It’s difficult to find people willing and equipped to serve God in the North West amid the isolation, extreme weather and transient populations.

We’ve set up a new program to train young ministers for the specific challenges of frontline North West ministry. Please consider this possibility for your support.
