The Mark Drama
An amusing, energetic and powerful presentation of The Mark Drama brought Jesus to life in Geraldton for Easter. A cast of 14, mostly from the Geraldton Anglican Cathedral, presented the 90 minute retelling of the Gospel of Mark as theatre-in-the round. As a result, four people signed up for the Hope Explored course for enquirers to find out about Jesus.

The Mark Drama Audience reviews
The play ends with an actor challenging the audience to consider for themselves if what they had seen was true? Dean of the Cathedral, Lachlan Edwards said the drama was a powerful way to share the gospel. "During refreshments after the show it was so easy to talk to anyone about the gospel by asking which incident they liked best, or what struck them most about the play. This led on to deeper discussions."
Margaret was invited by her grandson.
"I don't believe in Jesus. But I listened very carefully to every word that 'Jesus' said and it was very interesting."
One of the actors wrote in their diary that the experience was life-changing. "Being a part of the cast for The Mark Drama has rocked me deeply to the core of my being and through it, God has reached down once again to claim me as His own. I felt God’s hand on my soul as he reawakened the Holy Spirit that dwelt within, but which great suffering had caused me to bury these past 7 years." Read full story
