Location: Port Hedland Seafarers Centre

SENIOR Chaplain (Head of mission)

We need evangelists who are passionate about sharing Jesus in a cross cultural context. You will also be passionate about caring for the unique needs of seafarers, many of whom spend months away from home.

You will lead the team at the Centre which offers spiritual and practical care to seafarers who visit when they come into Port. The Centre provides onshore recreation, wifi, food, Christian literature, currency exchange and shopping.

HONORARY MinisterS

Location: Carnarvon

You will lead this cohesive, multi-generational congregation as we seek to share our faith and grow our church. We love to study the Bible and pray and we long for a Minister who will faithfully teach the Bible each week. Carnarvon is a great place for a young family to live, with good community facilities and quality of life.

Location: Mission to Seafarers Dampier

CENTRE MANAGER (Full Time)

Missions to Seafarers North West Australia is looking for new staff to join the work of caring for seafarers.

Mission centres across the world (over 200 ports in 50 countries) seek to care for the spiritual, emotional and physical wellbeing of seafarers.

Mission to Seafarers Dampier is looking for a mission minded couple to join the team in reaching out to thousands of visiting seafarers with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The primary responsibilities would be to manage all centre & retail operations under the oversight of the Chaplain & Executive Officer.

Experience in business operations and retail is desirable. Housing and vehicle included in remuneration package.

TRANSPORT OFFICER (CASUAL)

Mission to Seafarers Dampier is seeking casual Transport Officers & Drivers with a C or LR class Licence (automatic or manual licence) to work as part of their team for transport driving. 
The primary responsibility would be coordinating and undertaking the overall transit of seafarers. This could be transport from their ship/terminal to the Centre for shore-time, or from the Centre to Karratha City shops and return, or from ship/terminal to the airport/hotel/hospital or visa versa. 
Other responsibilities include the maintenance, refuelling and cleanliness of the Centre's vehicle assets, to ensure the ongoing delivery of excellent Transit and Centre operations.

This is a residential position only, ideally suited to someone already located in Karratha/Dampier.
